Advancy recruits candidates with strong logical thinking and quantitative analysis skills, emphasizing diversity. Networking with Junior Consultants and Consultants is recommended to understand the firm’s culture and career development, which is beneficial for resume and cover letter preparation. Only about 30% of applicants are granted an interview, and of those, only 5% receive an offer, highlighting the importance of thorough case interview preparation.
The interview process involves resume screening, an online assessment, a 15-minute behavioral interview, a 90-minute first-round case interview, and a 120-minute final-round case interview. The first round case is interviewer-led, and the final round is interviewee-led, conducted by the North America CEO. Preparation for both styles is crucial, with 1-2 weeks between each interview round.
